Firewood

If you have an open fire or a wood burning stove, then using your own properly seasoned wood as a fuel source may prove a useful benefit. If time allows, PS tree will undertake to log any timber suitable for firewood, to a width that will fit your fireplace when split. To season properly, logs must be split and stored outside with a simple top cover to allow air to circulate. If the client wishes, splitting logs can be arranged separately.

Chippings

Any branch wood not suitable for firewood (known as 'brash') can be chipped on site. Chippings are a popular product in the garden and can be used as a mulch and weed suppressor for borders and paths.

Advice

Along with advice on legal issues associated with tree surgery, PS Tree can also submit and manage tree work applications and liaise with appropriate local authorities for all tree related issues. e.g Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation Areas.
