PS Tree is the Sole Trading name for an Arboriculture business set up and run by myself, Dave Willetts.

I am a retired Police Officer from both the Metropolitan and Cumbria Police Forces. My interest in trees began in 1998 when I completed a 3 year part time Ecology and Conservation course with Birbeck University London. At that time knowing that a career in the Police can only last 30 years, I began to plan a new career working with trees, for when I had to leave.

In 2009 I completed my first Tree Surgery qualification and have continued to build on this each year since. This included achieving a Distinction in the Certificate for Arboriculture Theory in 2010, from Myerscough College in Lancashire.

PS Tree was established in 2013 to run alongside the last two years of my police career. It is now my full time job.
